Practice Time & Location:
Days: Tuesday & Thursday (Season begins on Tuesday, May 22nd and ends on Tuesday, August 2nd)
Time: 6pm to approximately 8pm
Location: Indian Rocks Christian Sand Courts, 12685 Ulmerton Rd, Largo, FL 33774

Uniforms:
1 Mizuno Bathing Suit
2 Practice Tank Tops (Required to wear with spandex at practice)
1 L/S DRI-FIT

June 2 or 3  (AAU Qualifier – Bishop) 

June 9 or 10 (SSOVA – Clearwater)

June 30 (Florida Region Qualifier) *Tavares*

July 7 or 8 (Dig the Beach – Siesta) 

July 14 or 15 (SSOVA – Clearwater)

July 21 (No Name Beach – Bishop) 

August 4 or 5 (SSOVA – Clearwater) *Championship*

Additional Information:
– Due to the possibility of inclement weather, NO REFUNDS will be given due to the cancellation of a practice or event due to weather
– All items with HEAT BEACH screened or embroidered
– Athletes will register/pay for each event they’re attending
UNIFORMS must be worn at all events that coaches are attending
– Coaches will attend the tournaments listed ONLY if players from HEAT BEACH are registered to play. Players will be REQUIRED to      notify Coach Foster by email as soon as they register for one of the tournaments listed on the HEAT schedule so he can make sure coaches are present at the event.

Mark Foster
Mark is the first High School Coach in Pinellas County to start a Girls Beach Volleyball program under the sanctioning of the Sunshine State Athletics Conference and the Florida Region of USA Volleyball.  He led his team this year (2017) to a 3-1 Conference record along with a 47-20 pairings match record, while placing 2nd overall at the Bishop McLaughlin HS Beach Tournament, and 9th overall at the SSAC State Championships.  He is BEACH IMPACT, SAFE SPORT, Indoor IMPACT, and CAP 1 certified through USA Volleyball.  He is also a certified NCAA/PAVO Indoor and Beach volleyball official.
Mark started playing indoor/beach volleyball in Puerto Rico with ARREVICA Volleyball Club from 1989-1992 where he had the privilege of playing for the Puerto Rican Junior Olympic squad as a Defensive Specialist (1990-1991).
He played in the Florida Beach, AVP Qualifying, and Jose Cuervo Qualifying Tours (1993-2000) with partner Matt Heyl while attending college at Clearwater Christian College.  He and his partner received TOP 3 pairing honors in the Southeastern U.S. from 1995-2000 in the OPEN division of the tours.
He began his indoor coaching career at Pinellas Park HS (1999-2000) and was one of the “Original Coaches” to coach with Pinellas Heat VBC in the club’s inaugural year (99/00).  He was the Head Coach at Clearwater Central Catholic from 2001-2002 and has been serving as the Head Coach of Indian Rocks Christian School since 2003. During his tenure with Pinellas Heat, he has mainly coached 14u-15u Elite level teams since the clubs inception as well as serving as the Setter’s coach of the club for 5 years.  He has helped many of his HS and Club players receive college scholarships for volleyball.
